Hi Guys
I have been in Canada for 1 year. I just wanted to know when I apply for citizenship (after 3 years) what exactly documentation is required from my side. Some one told me I need to submit bills as proof of address and need to keep by boarding passes etc ?
Can someone give me a list of documents that need to submitted with the application for citizenship?
Thanks in advance

CIC web sites to look at:

Guide for applying for citizenship

Minimum amount of required physical presence in Canada is FOUR years.

Be aware that requirements are always subject to change.

Keep all typical records a person should ordinarily keep: rental or ownership records, employment records, banking records. Keep a precise record of all travel outside Canada. Protect your passport. Lost passports are a big problem, even if it is not the person's fault in the least that the passport was lost.

But when you make the application follow the instructions and submit what you are instructed to submit. I linked the forms so you could look at what is required today. The instructions and requirements can and do change, so what is required three years plus from now is likely to be different . . . not a lot different, but different.

Many of the other records people have suggested are records you should keep for yourself and in case CIC requests more proof. For example, you do not submit bills or bank records or payslips or such with the application. Certainly not boarding passes. But a small percentage of applicants are sometimes asked to submit additional documents to prove where they have in fact been living, working, and so on, and they can also submit more specific documentation about specific trips like boarding passes (I tend to doubt things like boarding passes carry much weight, since they mostly tend to confirm travel CIC already knows took place and has confirmed . . . what is more often at issue for CIC is whether or not the applicant traveled other times, and what proves he did not).

Yeah, follow the dpenabill advice and more important, stop the "some one told me..." . Look always for official information.
