there is compulsory of sir name in passport for Canada immigration like Gurider singh sidhu , SIDHU IS SIR NAME . MY NAME IS IN PASSPORT IS GURINDER SINGH . I HAVE NOT MENTION ANY SIR NAME IN PASSPORT PL GIVE ME SUGGESTION TO CHANGE MY NAME IN PASSPORT FOR ADDING SIDHU LIKE GURINDER SINGH SIDHU. PL GUIDE ME .

are you referring to your "SUR"NAME?
Surname or LAST name?

With that concern i guess you need to coordinate it with the proper authority for that. to change it
the soonest possible time before you get into trouble.

like here in the Philippines, we have our Department of Foreign affairs.
And in the process of obtaining a passport, they need to have a copy of our BIRTH CERTIFICATE,
where they can have basis as to what COMPLETE AND LEGAL NAME are they going to include in the passport.
LAST NAME/SURNAME - FIRST NAME - MIDDLE NAME(if necessary)

In india, it is quite simple. i think u belong to punjab. Go to regional passport office of your area. around it there u will find lot of consultants dealing with passport related matters. consult anyone, he would guide u better. it is a matter of just Rs. 100 game.

even i also had also not any sir name(family name) mentioned in my passport. i am telling u the procedure for getting it adding on passport.

First of all u need to declare(by producing affidavit) in two local newspapers;one regional language and one english daily i ...... s/o ....... R/o changing my name from Gurvinder sing to Gurvinder Singh Sidhu. Please note all concerned.

(Every newspaper agency has this kind of matter, otherwise just pick any newspaper and note down this matter)

well, after that u need to fill a form in passport office (enquire from enquiry counter or passport consultant), deposit some fee for it (around Rs.500/-) along with passport copy, original passport and full pages of that newspapers in which u have given declaration of changing ur name.

Within 10-15 days u will get your passport with addition of sirname. that's all.

no problem if u don't have sirname in passport don't worry my passport i don't have sirname just send all document this will not affect your case

No problem as long as you have proper evidence and explanation for that absence of the part of your name.
