I'm a 38 years old, Software Applications Architect from India. My educational qualification is 10+2 HSC in Science from Mumbai University which I passed in March-1996. Due to some unfavorable circumstances I left my education mid way and took up self learning programming and started working in the software sector.

I have over 17 years of professional experience in the Software Tech industry which has also helped me now to set up my own Tech consultancy firm which I've been running bootstrapped for almost 3 years. For better opportunities I want to seek a job relevant to my skills and immigrate to Canada, through the Federal Skilled Worker program, in the Express Entry system. However, as per the assessment tool, I am ineligible because I have not completed my bachelor's degree.

I'm currently able and willing to take out time and study again, towards completing my bachelor's degree. I am considering the Personalized Learning Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University, details are on their site (I am not allowed to post links).

I checked, and as per the online degree equivalency tool at WES Canada, this degree will probably work out to 4 years degree in Canada.

Is this degree eligible to let me enter the CIC Federal Skilled Worker program? Will I be able to participate in the Job seeker portal as well? To complete the degree, as a person resident in India, I will be participating online in remote self learning and examinations.
