Hi all,

Me and my wife are planning to invite my mother-in-law for a visit for Christmas. We are PR and just landed in May 2019. We also have a 3 year old daughter.
I have a part-time job and planning to study and get the OSAP by January and my wife is home maker.
My Mother in law is almost 70 Yrs, widowed and have her good financial status.
Considering this condition I had some question which I would appreciate if any one can help us with them:

1- It is not going to be a problem if we make the profile for her but not mentioning that we are making the profile? (because it asks in the beginning if we are applying for a immediate family member.)
2- I do not have Tax slip yet. would her own properties and bank statement be enough for her application ?
3- Our invitation letter and her Intention of travel letter, should be formal and only include legal information or can we share some personal concerns as well. like it is our first Christmas here and we have not so many people to spend the holiday with them at this time, and we prefer our mom to be with us in this occasion.

If there is any format for these letters that someone can suggest, we would appreciate sharing it here.

Thanks
Hadi

>> Yes you can make the profile for her and there is a form indicating that YOU are your mother-in-law's representative.
2- I do not have Tax slip yet. would her own properties and bank statement be enough for her application ?
>>You said she is financially capable, that would be enough. Considering that you guys are applying for a Visit Visa and not a Grandparent Supervisa.
3- Our invitation letter and her Intention of travel letter, should be formal and only include legal information or can we share some personal concerns as well. like it is our first Christmas here and we have not so many people to spend the holiday with them at this time, and we prefer our mom to be with us in this occasion.
