Requested for my SON's latest passport picture before sending the medical forms

Good day to all,

Last June 16, 2011, I received a notice from the Canadian Embassy here in the Philippines asking me for the latest passport picture of my son. It was stated that they will send the medical forms after I complied with their request. Does anyone have the same experience? How long will it normally take before they send me the medical forms upon submission of the requested documents? I have not yet received any medical forms. Passport pictures were sent 2 weeks ago. In addition, I was also asked to submit my Proof of funds and our updated personal info sheets.

We applied last Feb 28, 2005. It took us more than 6 years before we got a feedback from the Canadian embassy in the Philippines.

Hope you could share your own experiences so that we will have an idea on what to expect. It feels like we've been waiting forever.

Hi! We are on the same boat. Last June 10, I received the request for other documents. They asked for the passport photos of our children. They said that they will only send the medical forms once they received the photos. They also requested for the FBI and RPRF. I sent them all the docs that they asked including the RPRF. I have not received anything from them since. I was thinking that they are doing another round of background check since I have submitted our FBI already. same brother like u i got reply of enquiry to send fresh photos including all family members, updated pcc me and my spouse and updated forms they also mentioned that they already requested all these doc in march2011 but i did not recieved any letter i have sent all required doc on jun16,2011 and waiting for med

hi last june 30, 2011, I also received e-mail from CEM asking for our latest passport photo(we are family of 3).It's also stated there that medical forms will follow after they receive our pictures & I'm about to send it to them tomorrow.Also they asked me to send them the RPRF and our personal info sheets as well.They also gave us 60days to comply,is it the same with you?

i could not recieve the letter that vo wrote me on 15 march but visa officer replied me in enquiry and req doc within 45 days my vo is london

We have the same instruction from the Embassy. I have submitted the passport photos, FBI and the RPRF. Im also waiting for the forms.

hi ehdgar, may i ask when did you submit the said documents? did they advise you to comply with in 60 days upon receipt of the letter? also what mode of payment did you used for RPRF? if bank draft did you write your name & file number at the back of the check using pencil? i'm sorry if i asked too much.....hope to hear from you....THANKS

The letter was dated June 3, 2011. I received it from my consultant on June 10, then I submitted the additional docs on June 14. They also advised me to comply within 60 days. I purchased a manager's check from BPI in the amount of 42K Pesos. The consultant was the one who prepared the cover letter, so I guess she stapled it all together. Then sent it to the Embassy. We are anxious as to when we can receive the medical forms, 30 days has passed since the date of the letter. Anyway, one of the forumers, Kanamen said that it takes up to 6 weeks to receive it. So we should be getting it soon. Hope for the best and Goodluck to all of us!!!!

i have been a silent reader of this thread . the experience are the same to me too. I completed sending documents [including photo] of the new born a week ago and expecting medical request for the baby .my visa office is Singapore . will they do the same to me , i am really worried . do you think that they will ask new banking documents, net worth statements , financial documents again?please share your experience !

I thought after sending the said documents they'll send right away the medical forms.
It is clearly written in their letter that medical forms will be sent once photos are with them. Did you check your postman re:documents coming from Canadian embassy? Thanks Ehdgar...I guess we can't do anything bout it, we just have to wait patiently. Goodluck to us

I even went to the Canadian Embassy Manila and inquired personally about the medical forms. The only thing that the lady told me was that its still too early to send it. So I guess we cant do anything but wait, wait and wait. Let's pray harder coz the waiting gets too tiring!!! Hehehe! Goodluck to all of us!

Thanks to everyone who responded!! I guess we all just have to wait. Besides, waiting is a virtue . We've been waiting for more than 6 years already for a reply. A month or two for the medical forms is not that bad... I guess!!!

Hi Ehdgar,

I just found out that the Canadian Embassy here in the Philippines uses the regular postal mail that normally takes 12-14 days before the mail gets delivered. I was told that this is the reason why we have not yet received our medical forms. There is a possibilty that the forms are already on its way

Please let me know if you have already received yours.
