Hello dear community,
I am writing you because I am somewhat confused. I am applying for a Working Holiday Visa through IEC and have been invited to apply for the work permit. Last week I completed all the documents/uploads and submitted - so far so good. Today I received another message requesting me to upload a police certificate for one of the countries I used to live in. The thing is that I already provided that document. Now I was a little fast and simply re-uploaded a scan of that police certificate and submitted once more. However now I am second-guessing myself, worried that something could have been wrong with it.
Details: I had to submit two police certificates. One for Germany (country of residence) plus translation and one for the Netherlands (used to study there) - no translation needed here according to the Canada webpage. I submitted both documents (scans) in one PDF file. Is it maybe that? Do the police certificates need to be seperate?
Another reason I could think of is that the address on my Dutch police certificate is not my German home address - it is the address of a friend from the Netherlands with my name as the recipient. This was actually suggested to me by the Dutch Ministry of Justice's Customer Service, as postage is a lot quicker nationally. My friend then provided me with the scan. Could this potentially be a problem?
I simply do not understand why I had to submit that document again. The letter I received was formulated in a way that would suggest that I had never submitted it in the first place. Things like this cannot be overlooked during processing though, can they?
Thank you for your time,
ramzy
addition: I also have not received a confirmation email after submitting the police certificate again. When I log in and view the submitted application however, it states "Replacement provided".
