Request to help - Parents Visitor Visa

Hi All,

Request you to help me with this. I would like to apply Visitor Visa for my Parents (residing in India) and i am applying for the first time. I am on Work Permit . Plan is that they would visit me mid of next year. Now I am confused with 4 things -

-First, which link should i use for applying? (IRCC portal or GC login?)

-Second, if i have to apply under IRCC link, what should i choose from the below mentioned options:
* Why do you need a visa? (required)
To unite with an immediate family member who is in Canada temporarily OR
To visit family/friends for less than 6 months

- Third, if i select "To unite with an immediate family member who is in Canada temporarily", it is asking for written authorization letter from IRCC
To unite with an immediate family member who is in Canada temporarily, you must also request written authorization from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) if you:

• are travelling to Canada from a country other than the United States and
• do not qualify for the fully vaccinated traveller exemption

* Are you also requesting a written authorization? (required)Yes / No

-Fourth, can i select "No" to above question, as they are fully vaccinated. Will there be any negative impact by not getting authorization letter?

I would appreciate if someone can advise me on this.
