Request letter

Hello,

I received an ITA and submitted all my documents for my PR on Dec 28, 2023.
On 15 March 2024, I received a request letter asking me for two things:

• Status Inquiry: Please provide your marital status.
• Generic Application Form (IMM008): Please provide an updated Generic Application form for Canada IMM 0008 including all dependent family members.

I also have to upload files to my IRCC account (supporting documents).

I am single and not married.

I have some questions:

1. For the IMM008 form to fill? Should I print, sign and scan?
2. For the status inquiry, should I just upload a letter stating that I am single?
3. Is the IMM008 form a standard procedure? Why did they ask for it?
