I just received a letter from the visa officer requesting the upfront medical report form (IMM 1017B). In fact, I did mine and submit the receipt (the one with the UMI code) along with my outland application. When I inquire with the clinic, they gave me a similar form (with the same UMI code) confirming the all the exams have been complete, and said this served as the IMM 1017B and that they don't have IMM 1017B form.
There's an E-Medical logo in the print-out so I believe the physician works with the electronic system and just wanted to confirm I have the right document requested from the Visa office.
