Hello.
So here's my story. My fiancé moved to Canada 5 years ago to study and recently got his PR under BC PNP. Before Express Entry, our safest option to get together ASAP, was a spouse visa but then I got an ITA while he was still awaiting his PR and I applied in May.
Now my case is in process and we have fixed the wedding date for January.
My question is, since he is now a PR, can we get married in my home country and then I land in Canada after or do I really need to go and get my PR card, then get back and get married (which will take god knows how much more time). I would truly appreciate your advice and views on this scenario. We have done 5 years of long distance and would truly like a fast way out now. Thankso a lot in advance!
