Hi Guys!

Is it possible to request for reconsideration of Work Permit Application with the expired LMO?

Application Submitted: July 2013
Medical Instruction: Sept. 10, 2013
Took Med. Exam: Sept. 12, 2013
Med. Confirmed Clear: Sept. 23, 2013
Refusal Received: December 12, 2013

*LMO Expiry: October 2013

I received a Refusal Letter and it says that my case is closed and I can reapply. But how can I reapply? My LMO had expired during the application period. Plus the letter does not specify any reason for the refusal. And just to get the reason for my refusal I have to pay $40 for GCMS notes? I am also thinking that the reason for the refusal is the same with my co-applicant;they might just need NBI(Police Certificate) only which I can provide. And how come they did not ask for the NBI last Sept. 2013 (Medical Instruction).

My employer is willing to request for reconsideration but where to send it and what would be the right message on the reconsideration letter? And I don't think that my employer should pay again for another LMO.

What would be the best action that I should? Please help...

Thanks and Advance Merry Christmas to All....

Sorry to hear that buddy..... When you get your refusal letter, the letter clearly has the reason for refusal, if you look at the subsequent pages (the page states that the application is refused, look at the other pages) will have various reasons with a check box, the VO ticks the appropriate reason and sends it to you.

Unfortunately, you cannot re-apply with an expired LMO, you have to get another positive LMO....

If you provide the reason, we might probably give you some ideas....

Good luck....
