Hi every one

Please can any one answer ASAP

Please give me some idea about my case. We finish our Medical checkup in September and CHC London received on 15th September 2009. Police Clearance certificate was sent together with RPRF through Canadian representative in first week of October 2009. In medical doctor ask me to go for C.T. Scan chest to confirm the old TB lesion, and old x-ray to compare with new one. We went through the process and report sent to CHC London. Now we received request to go for sputum test and x-ray after 6-8week.

My question is if it will be negative after mentioned period then when we can expect the passport request?

Thanks,

Yes, if sputum test is negative than you will receive the passport request. One of my friend also has to go through these tests but all cleared and he received the PPR from CHC-Islamabad.

I myself, had to repeat the chest x-ray and the same was received by CHC-New Delhi on 7th October,2009. So far no news and I am assuming that everything is hunky dory.

Dont worry .....I went through the same process as for repeat medical tests due to an OLD SPOT at my chest. It was actually an old healed infection but i have to go through all of the process like ...repeat X-Rays, CT Scan and TB tests etc. I was also very much tensed but finally everything went fine and now i have submitted my passport for stamping. Did you ever had TB ? Even if you had it and it is recoverd, it is not going to be any problem but just delay for a month. InshaAllha you will fine.

hi everyone, I am looking for some advice pls help. I send my medical report back on september but I didnt find my ecase updated to medical received until today. After my email inquiry to the consulate office they informed that a medical follow up request was sent to my address back on october. I told them that i never received such request despite i have the correct address. The person from the consulate office (who had called me) advised me to contact my medical practioner and check my email and follow up from there and ended the phone call. when I checked with my medical practioner they said they havent received anykind of documentations and such request would be sent to the individual and not in their office. So they have no information about what kind of medical follow up should be done. I also checked my email it only says.
Our records show you are required to undergo a follow-up medical examination since October 2009. Please provide evidence you complied with this requirement .

Now i dont know what do i do next. what kind of medical checkup is needed as I dont have anything in documents? I am thinking just because I mentioned I had jaundice 7-8 yrs before in the medical history page they might have requested for medical follow up. I dont have any kind of medical issues and ready to undergo any kind of medical checks but i dont know what is needed to be done. I am also little worried about the timeline as the follow up request was sent on octber which I never received. i am afraid if I am running out of time for report submission. I didnt find any way to call the person back an put my questions I have emailed them but havent heard back yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanx

Dear Dipen

Please Accept my apology for late reply. I was very busy and unable to check mail.
kindly check with your Doctor and ask them to check you result copy I'm sure they will have the record of your result not only your they should have an copy of all result. May they know what was abnormal in your result and what could be the follow up from CHC. In my case I received the letter from CHC addressed to the same Dr by her name, who did my Medical and mentioned that what they need and how it should be done. For me only one line was there that I should shoulder the all expenditure of re-medical.
There was time line saying that re-medical should be done within 60 days.
In your case I can suggest you to check with your doctor and write again to CHC.

Wish you god luck and hope you will receive good new.

sincerely,

Dipen,

I can understand the sit u r into. It's very frustrating... & w/out the CHC's letter/email u wouldn't know what to do/re-test. So, u must get a copy of that letter to proceed further.

As u have already sent many emails & they r declining to reply, send a fax again requesting them to give you a copy of the letter/email they say they had sent in Oct 09.

U must further follow the same vide the 'web form' provided in the CIC website. Morover, keep re-sending the same email query to CHC every 3-4 days. Hopefully, being pestered they'd comply.

All the best, buddy !

Hi Qorax,

Just a thought coming through my mind. This is actually for those who had past history of TB. Certainly after healing it leaves a scar in the lungs. And in many cases CIC usually asks for additional tests like the sputum test just to confirm that the TB is already inactive, and if this happens, delay with the process is most likely expected. Can people who had past history of TB take pro active steps like submitting sputum test, submit certificate from the attending physician who treated the disease, and other test available to prove that TB is healed even if they are not being asked by CIC? Is this possible? The purpose mainly is to avoid any delays with the process...

As I know that CHC will ask again to repeat the x-ray and sputum test. The old reports may help show the T.B is inactive but still they are asking to do it again by the same physician. The process delay is expect in these cases.

Please seniors are requested to reply If the re-medical is clear and result is negative. How long it will take to get passport request? (CHC London). Re-medical result was sent on January 5, 2010 to CHC Landon. Hope to get some idea we are in KSA need to give note to employer in advance to get passport and even final settlement will take more then 2 month. our worries is Iqama (residency permit will expire in the end of the Month March 2010. Is it possible to finish the stamping process within the next 60 days or before end of the March ? We need to windup every thing from KSA and it in not so easy. Please guide us for safe side to renew the Iqama (Residency Permit) or wait till the end of the February 2010?

Thanks

hmi,

I am from KSA too, in Riyadh. Renewal of iqama takes only a day to finish, and you can renew it anytime before the expiration date. The general safe rule is: no visa on passport, no resignation from current job. Renewal of iqama for me is not the issue here. The main concern is the timing of the renewal of your contract, if you are having a definite contract, meaning you are renewing and signing a new contract every end of its terms. And the labor law in KSA says, employees should give employers at least a month notice if there is a plan not to renew the contract. Now, if timing will be bad, i.e, you receive your visa after you have renewed your contract, you still can resign from your job, provided you would still give your employer a one month notice. But in this case, you might not get your indemnity(service award) full if your stay in that company is less than 10 years. You will receive two-thirds of your indemnity if you have worked in your employer for 5 years. One-third if three years, and you will receive nothing if your stay in the company is less than 2 years. This rule applies to those who will resign from their job before the end of their contract. A different rule applies to those who decides to leave the company after finishing their contract. That is, 2.5 months indemnity for the first 5 years and a month salary for every year thereafter. If you have stayed in that company for more than 10 years, you can resign anytime, you have nothing to loose, provided you should inform your employer at least a month bofore leaving, for them to find for your replacement.
Not so many people including employers knew about this rule. And many employers are not following this, or shall I say do not like to follow this.

A friend from Al Khobar, got his PPR 45 days after his meds. And received his stamped passport 3 weeks after that.He is under the new rules. My suggestion, do not resign not until you have the PR visa in your passport. Try to sit down with your employer and discuss with him possible scenarios, if in case you will resign after the renewal of your contract just in case you receive your visa after you have renewed your contract with your employer. From that conversation, I guess you can get a brighter picture for your planning.
