Has anyone had a similar situation? Please share your experience/insight.
I have filed for my PR under the Family Sponsorship class. On February 19, 2016 I received a letter from CIC to submit my fingerprints through RCMP within 30 days. Same day I went to an accredited agency, they took my fingerprints and said they would forward my results to RCMP and then RCMP would verify my fingerprints and send the result directly to CIC.
I emailed RCMP on February 26, 2016 to get a status of my fingerprints but haven’t heard back anything from them. I called CIC on March 1, 2016 and was told that they cannot tell if they received my fingerprints or not.
What should I do in such a situation? How would I know if CIC received my fingerprints or not!! Would they mail me or update my status? And in case my fingerprints are not received by CIC within 30 days would I receive an email for that. Please help!!
