Our (my wife and I) express-entry is under process. Our processing is supposed to be over by June 13, 2019 as per the timeline given by CIC. However, in many cases I have heard that processing does not take long, and sometimes applicants get request for passport submission.
My wife's passport require renewal, and it has to be done now. And passport renewal takes around 6-8 weeks. What if we get the request for passport submission while her passport under the renewal process? How much time does CIC give to submit passports? If the time is 30 days, and we expect that the renewed passport might not be available in that 30 days, what should we do?
