Request for passport for PR

hello,

So I got an email to send my passport(with at least 6 months validity) and 2 passport photos, my concern is my passport expires around mid May 2018.. Do you guys think it's okay to send it like that or I should renew my passport before sending it??

please help!!!!

If you can get it renewed before the deadline, then go for it. You may also contact your local visa office to check with them if they will accept your current passport. Good Luck!

Thank you. I have been trying to contact IRRC if they will accept my passport like that but their line is always busy and I don't even know how long it will take for me to renew my passport as I have to travel to Ottawa for it

Contact your visa office by email or via IRCC webform. This email should be in the PPR email. Don't even rely on responses you get from the call center. Good Luck!
