Request for Medical Exam even after Upfront Medical Report submission

Hi,

I am a student in Canada and my wife has applied for an Open Work Visa from India.

She uploaded the Upfront Medical Report at the time of application submission on 18th of August. However, on 14th of Sept she received a request for Medical Exam again (Form IMM 1017E).

I called the IRCC call centre on 16th of Sept here from Canada and they told me that the medical report is not reflected in their system. My wife spoke to the hospital and they are telling that they have already sent the medical report. Not sure what is going on.

Now even if she goes through the medical again, there is no option in the online account to upload another document (as all the
documents were already uploaded at the time of application submission).

Please guide me through this problem.

Hello buddy. I had the same problem. Even i got medical request again even though i have submitted upfront medical. I have done case specific inquiry and they have told me that they received my documents that i have attqched. But after that no news from them.

What is happend with you? Did you got medical passed??

I too got d same problem,, However my upfront medical was of wrong category .i.e EDE,,
Bt d request i hv got now is of NON EDE type,, So vl hv to get it done again,,

same thing happened with me. no need to do again. both are same EDE and Non EDE its just interpretation they do while reviewing results. besides hospital will refuse to do remedical. unless u dont mention about your previous medical.

this topic is not thoroughly discussed in this forum so i am opening a new thread describing how this problem got solved for my case. hope that helps to you and other people in the same situation.

which IRCC form did you fill up? i suggest u send case specific inquiry where your application is being processed

essentially how strictly they analyse your medical results. nothing we can do about it.

you can send CSE to them according to how much time u have been given to submit medical result. you can find more information and discuss it here:

you can visit hospital and conform that your medical has been uploaded to server. and find out where your file is being processed and send CSE to that specific visa office along with general IRCC

it entirely depends on them. ideally they should reply you within 5-6 working days.
for my case one got answered in 6 days, one never answered and one answered in 2 hours!!

I am in a similar situation too.. Just got a message from CIC asking me to upload medical information forms for my wife while I already submitted hers about a month back. And I don't see any upload option on my CIC account. So not sure where I can submit any new information?
