hi friends,

i have just received my PER 2 days ago and i would like to know should I start requesting for the fbi clearance now since it takes more than 16 weeks to get it done? Also my husband has been living in UK for 6 years before his 18th years old, in this case do we also have to request for the UK PCC? i appreciate your help.

The visa office Hong Kong sent me an email requiring me to provide my husband's FBI clearance. We had lived in the US for about a year from 2003 to 2004 to get his master degree. We do have one FBI clearance but it was applied in 2005 for a personal purpose. We haven’t stayed in the US after since. I’m wondering if we can still use the old FBI clearance? Or we need to apply a new one?

Please apply for FBI pcc as it takes them too long. Please make sure you send them extra copies of your finger prints as any rejection of your finger prints will cause further delays. It does not harm getting the UK pcc, just in case....

Hi Jess lu,

I have answered your question in your earlier post. They will ask for updated pcc.

Hi all,

My family status is legally separated, not divorced. So is it neccesary to submit PCC of my spouse non accompanying who is not in my application? I received the email from SGVO requiring to provide my spouse's PCC, and updated IMM5669, i don't know why?
