My in-land spouse sponsorship was approved on 2013 Jan for stage 1, I received a letter saying that I am eligible for PR. After that Canadian security intelligence service had an interview with me and started a background check because some of my family member worked for foreign embassy.
The back ground check lasted over a year
. I called CIC many times, they told me that they know nothing because the CSIS back ground check is a black box. I was extremely nerves :-X.
Today(May 12th), I received a letter from CIC requesting an original police certificate (my original submission was a copy one). my question is:
Does this mean that CSIS already finished their back ground check and sent the result back to CIC?
