My girlfriend landed in Dec on humanitarian grounds, surprisingly she received a letter from CIC-RMO OTTAWA HEALTH BRANCH asking for additional medical tests.Will this be a mistake on their part.When she did her medicals Aug 2014 she had to do them twice nd 2nd time the doctor called her to come back as per CIC instructions.So I'm thinking this letter is for something she already did.Pliz help she is worried.She already received the PR card, health card nd new sin# nd she bought a ticket to visit her parents.

Sounds like medical surveillance is required after getting PR. This is usually done for health conditions that could be potentially dangerous to other Canadians (like Tuberculosis), they want to make sure it's not an issue even after becoming a PR.
