Request for additional documents, but no details!!!

Hi,

I applied for PR - EE under FSW from inside Canada, I got AOR September 2017. Last week, I found the following update:

Review of additional documents: We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.

It has been more than a week now and I didn't get any message, could there be a problem which I need to investigate or just wait, I applied to electronic officer's notes just 2 days before I got that update on my application.

I am supposedly in IP2 stage, since early November 2017.

Any idea if this is a typical message for a specific document required? And why it could be taking that extra time to get this message with the details of what exactly is required.

You should call CIC and ask them directly. Also check your email/spams.

They sent me a message with document required few weeks after I saw this update.

You just need to wait.
