Reporting short term work ?

Hi Guys,

I am confused about whether I should report one of my work experiences. here is the issue - I worked in USA in 2017 on OPT with a startup for 3 months only for 25-30 hours a week.

Should I report this experience on my profile? Part time ? or full time? Will this be considered as part of my profile for Express Entry?

Any advice will be appreciated

You don't have to include it in your initial express entry profile as you're not claiming points for it. After ITA you have to include it in the personal history section without fail.

What I mean't is I can I claim points fort this short work ex? or I can't? .

Do you have 1 yr of continuous full-time paid experience to meet the minimum work experience requirement? If yes, then you can add this 3 months experience to that to gain more points.

But remember you get the same points for 1-2 yrs of work experience and maximum points for 3 or more yrs of experience.

Yes besides this experience I have 2.5 years of Full time work ex. I was wondering if this 3 month gig will be considered in my appn as I worked for 25-30 hours only. So in the initial stage I report it right.

Ok, but your total work experience won't add up to 3 yrs so I don't see any point in including this work experience. Had it added up to three yrs then you could have got points for 3 yrs of work experience.
