I am applying to sponsor my husband of 27 years. I am a Canadian citizen and he is American. We’ve been living in the US since 1995, which is when we got married.
My husband was married very briefly in 1987. The marriage was legally annulled because they didn’t live as husband and wife in any way.
I wasn’t going to put it anywhere in the application but just noticed the marriage and annulment is listed on our marriage certificate.
I can’t remember all the places in the application it asks about previous marriages, but I know it doesn’t always give the option to state a marriage ended in anulment, only death or divorce. Do I need to go back and change all my answers to indicate my husband has been married twice and somehow add the choice annulled? Thanks for any help.
