I have been calling immigration for a few days now to no avail so thought I'd give this a shot.
I was born in the uk but became a Canadian citizen as an infabt. Recently I lost my wallet including my drivers licence, BC health and services card and my proof of citizenship. All I have at this point is my birth certificate.
I cannot get a new licence or health card without proof of citizenship. So I went to download the application for a replacement citizenship certificate and it states that you need two pieces of ID one of which must have your photo on it. I have no way to get photo ID without proof of citizenship, and I cannot get proof of citizenship without photo ID. A bit of a catch 22. I've went to service Canada and they had no idea what I should do and like I said I'm having trouble getting ahold of immigration.
Does anyone have any information about a situation such as this?
