I recently took the IELTS Exam and while booking the test online they asked if English was my first language which I replied yes, I received my IELTS certificate with "1st Language written on it"
But the french TEF Canada doesn't mention any first or seconde language on the certificate. Can I swap the french test and put it as my first language? I've spent 30 years in France and UK equally.
Here are my result:
IETLS
Speaking: 8.5
Reading: 6.5
Writing: 7.5
Listening: 7.5
TEF CANADA
Speaking: 395/450
Reading: 227/300
Writing: 406/450
Listening: 317/360
Also If i was to retake my IELTS again but this time as a second language, will they be more strict/lenient on marking my papers?
