My family (husband and 2 children and i) landed in Vancouver in May 2009. We stayed there for one month but had to go back tot he Philippines. We never went back to Canada.
Since our PR status is expired, my husband and I have decided to go thru the renouncement process.
I have a few questions.
1. My children were both minors when their PR status expired. Do I need to renounce them too or would they have a chance of returning to Canada as PRs int he future if they want to work there?
2. How long does the renouncement process take?
3. If I want to visit Canada as a tourist, do I submit my renouncement documents and tourist visa application together?
