Hey everyone, I have been studying in Canada since January 2021 and my study permit expired on March 31. As I still have 2 courses left to finish my Masters, I recently got my study permit extension approved which is now valid until November 2022. The 2 courses that I still need to complete will be my academic exchange outside Canada. As my visitor visa also expired on the same day of my study permit, now I am applying for a new visitor visa so I can return to Canada once I finish my 4-week exchange. As my exchange will be in France, I was planning to apply for the visa from France but it will take 40 days to be processed. Since processing time in other European countries such as Belgium is only 20 days, do you think I will be able to select Belgium as the country I am applying from given that once I enter France I can just move between European countries on my Schengen visa? I would appreciate anyone's answer.
