I'm in the process of filling out my application to renew my study permit, and I have a few questions...
1) What's the difference between a "STUDENT VISA" and a "TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA"? I was originally under Student Visa, but then when I went back to my home country to renew my passport (because it was expiring) I now have a "Visitor" Visa. How does this affect me? Do I need to fill out an application to "restore my status"?
2) I intend upon mailing my application. It says, "Do not submit original documents. Original documents will not be returned." Does this mean not to mail my passport? If so, then how will they issue my visa?
