Renewing passport after receiving ITA

Hi,
I have received ITA recently through Canadian Experience class.My passport is expiring within 6 months. I only have 25 days to submit my application. I already did my medical and IELS which have my old passport number on it. Do I need to renew my passport before submitting my application or do it later after submitting the application through web form. If I renew it now, I have to edit my profile and I am worried having my old passport number in all documents and also I haven’t received my Indian PCC yet.It’s still on processing.So can I renew my passport while PCC is on processing?.Can someone help me with this please.?

It’s better to submit renewed passport and new PCC for renewed passport and acknowledge ITA. Since new passport will have the old passport number mentioned on the last page. Additionally, good to provide a letter of explanation with new passport copy attached.
