Renewing my work permit through my common law partner

Hello there,

I have a question concerning the progress of renewing my open work permit. It would be awesome if you could help me with that!
My situation: After I have studied in Canada I got an open work permit in Nov2014 - which is valid up until Nov2017.

In November 2014 I returned back to Europe for one year and then came back in Nov 2015 with my partner.
In Dec2015 I started working full time for a company - where I still have a valid contract until Sep.2017.
My partner currently has an LMIA and a valid work permit until Nov 2018 - which her employer got for her.

We live together for several years now. Could any one provide me with a guideline of how I could
renew my work permit as well ? I would love to stay her with her until Nov 2018.

I could not find the right topic for my exact situation.

For clarity what skill classification is your partners job NOC 0,A or B ? Assuming you are on a PGWP which of course in itself cannot be extended.

She falls under Skill Level B — technical jobs and skilled trade.
The same is true for me.
