Hey everyone,
My wife's family is here for the holidays. My mother in law has been with us since September and she is helping us with taking care of my baby daughter. She has six months of permission to stay and we have to ask for an extension in February to get her other six months.
The problem is now that we want to go to the U.S. and we want to know what would that represent for her. Would she be given again 2 months at the border and be asked to renew again her permit within Canada? Would she be stuck at the border and be denied entry? Anyone who can help us to understand possible scenarios??
