Renewal of TRV outside of Canada

Hi all I need best suggestions please...
Alhamdulillah I visited Canada few times on visit visa. Alhamdulillah 2 times I got visa. Second time they gave me visa upto my passport expiry. Which is about to end now.
but am married now but working in different country.
Can anybody guide me how should I apply for tourist visa again. Am planing to make my new passport and then I should apply before my visa expires or even after it get expires.
And second thing should I apply with my wife as well. Or I should I apply alone first.
Can they raise question why am going alone as I’ve wife as well...
Will really appreciate if experts can guide me.

You don’t renew for a visitor visa. You apply for a new one. So once you have a new passport, apply for a visa. Processing is long and you can’t travel to Canada as a tourist right now. Is your wife planning a trip to Canada? If not, no.
