Hi there, I have a question regarding PR card renewal, I know the rule of staying in Canada for 730 days in first 5 years from the day of landing. my question is my friend stayed in Canada for 18 months and then went back to her home country and stayed there for over 3 years. now she came back to Canada but she will not meet the requirement of 730 days to renew her PR. she will be somewhere 650 days in first 5 yrs. how immigration department will know if she has met her requirement to renew her PR. The passport she travelled with from back home first time, expired and now she has new passport. what will happen if she will not apply for renewal for now?? how Immigration will know about this?

She can stay until she completes 730 days and when she is planning to apply for renewal she should have been stayed for 730 days in last 5 years immediately before applying for renewal.

IRCC requests the color copies of the all the passports( all the pages) used since become PR in situations where they are unable to make a conclusive determination about residency.
