I am currently holder of a Working Holiday that expires in the beginning of December. However I don't want to go home so I'm looking for a way to get a new permit, I'm working fulltime as a customer service manager at Walmart, does anybody know what way I can go for this? I've been trying to do some research but I can't seem to find any good answers. I'm 20 years old and from Sweden if that matters. My ultimate goal is to immigrate to Canada but I'm thinking that getting a new working visa might be the first step to take.

You can try calling CIC directly. They normally should have an answer for you right away.

1. You would be eligible (possibly) for a further year under the IEC Young Professionals, except I don't thing that Walmart Customer Service Manger is going to qualify as "
This category is for you if:

  • You have a job offer in Canada that contributes to your professional development
  • You’ll work for the same employer in the same location during your stay in Canada
2. Other than that you are going to have find an employer is will to apply for a LMIA after advertising the position, paying the $1000 fee, and proving no Canadian/PRs are available for the position. The salary offered is also a factor.
