A sister came to Canada to write her Canadian Nursing Exams. She passed and applied for a work permit and was refused. Then she appealed. After almost a year waiting for the result of the appealed, she was denied residence yesterday, even when her new employer applied for her. Now she has been told to leave the country. Currently she is a qualified licenced Canadian Nurse. She has been weeping all day uncontrollable. Immigration even promised to give her air ticket to go back to her country with extreme poverty. Please whats the way forward? Any hope of fruitful legal representation for her?
If no way forward from this forum, will accepting the immigration flight ticket back home affect her future permanent resident application from her home country?
Pls kindly advice on the implication of this removal order with regards to her future application for PR.
Thanks,

My advice is that she gathers some money to get a ticket and leave on her own without the help of immigration. It would also be best if she leaves Canada voluntarily, it will look good on her record if she were to apply at a later date to come back into the country. The truth is that having a removal order on your record can make it an uphill task trying to come back into the country. However that being said it's still not impossible. She should consult an experienced immigration lawyer for professional advice.

Thanks,
1. Departure notice - No effect (except that any visitor applications would be closely scrutinized)
2. Exclusion order - Can't return to Canada for either 1 or 2 years.
3. Deportation Order - Banned for life without first obtaining permission of the Minister.
