I have some questions regarding relocation.

1. Is the employer required to provide air fare to the TFW that they will hire? If the employer doesn't provide this, will there be any chance that Service Canada will not give a positive LMO?

2. Is the employer required to give the TFW a relocation allowance? Temporary hotel accomodation until the FW finds a place to live in?

1. It depends on the skill level of the occupation. If the job is a skill level 0, A, or B in the National Occupation Classification (NOC) system, then NO the employer is not required to pay the airfare of the worker. If it is C or D, then yes the employer is required to pay return airfare. For C and D level positions, if the employer is not willing to pay the airfare, Service Canada will not issue a positive LMO.

2. The employer is required to ensure that adequate and reasonable (meaning cost) housing is made available to the TFW when they arrive. The employer is not required to pay for it.

Thanks rjessome! I hope I'll get my LMO approval soon. My job is a skill level A.
