Relocating to Calgary with family

Hi I am looking for a bit of advise. my family an I are looking to relocate to Calgary. we are looking to make the move by 2026. Is it too early to start the process now or should I be progressing with the applications?

I am a commercial plumber with 13 years experience. I have been a foreman for the last 5 years and running a full team for the last 3. my partner works in the finance sector. we have 2 kids one is 8 and the other is turning 3 in February.

Canada has many different immigration programs and specific requirements for each. If you aren't familiar with the programs and haven't done the research yet to understand criteria and if you qualify and have a chance of being selected, suggest you start that in-depth research now.
