Hi, I am confused. My friend is coming to work in a church under a religious/charitable visa which does not require an LMO or work permit. I just need clarification on a couple of things:
1. Does the church need to offer him a stipend? If so, how much roughly?
2. How much money will he need to have at the border? He has a letter stating he will be provided with room and board and incidental expenses, as well as assistance for the trip home. He also has a letter from that person's employer stating their wage and established work history.
3. To show ties back to the States, he has a letter from his employer stating they are holding his place, and a letter from his landlord stating he will still have his residence upon return. Is this enough? He can also show bank statements to show he has an American bank account he's keeping.
Thank you all so much for your time, a quick response would be VERY appreciated
