Hi there

I need Help, Can anybody help me please...

I came to canada with a religious visa, and my visa is almost expire, can i apply for LMO to get a new work permit to work in the restaurant of fast food?

since your religious visa is expiring, if you can afford to seek immigration lawyer since you are already in canada; use all the means to preserve your stay in a sure and correct way saving your neck. there might be proper approaches to make it passing to the immigration since your origin is religious visa.

Thanks for the reply, I have 3 months left for my visa and i got LMO approved, Is it possible for me to get my new work permit if apply for it? and how long is it takes? Thanks

if you have already your lmo under your name and you still got 3 months before expiration of your religious visa, find in the cic website applying work permit inside canada. to encounter your case as religious visa converting into work visa is new to me. my impression is it has technicality that it must undergo the right processing, approach and application. considering consulting immigration lawyer for guidance i believe will really put you in right path. now if you chose not to, speed up the time to research further in this forum how things going on becoming a foreign worker. hopefully you will get all the necessary info when you push thru your LMO and work permit. i hope all the best for you!
