When providing documents confirming that your relatives are actually living in Canada at the moment, can you provide copies of bills or originals should be provided?
Do they have to be certified as well?

Hi Gregor. Hope this helps.

PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP IN CANADA (IF APPLICABLE)
• Proof of relationship to your close relative in Canada, such as birth, marriage or
adoption certificates.
• If your close relative is a permanent resident of Canada: photocopy of his or
her Record of Landing (IMM 1000), Confirmation of Permanent Residence or
Permanent Resident Card.
• If your close relative is a Canadian citizen: proof of Canadian citizenship, such
as a photocopy of pages of a Canadian passport or Canadian citizenship card.
• Proof that your relative is currently living in Canada.

Gregor. Proof that yor relative lives in Canada can be a utility bill i.e. Phone, Gas, or Electricity bill.
For proof of relationship, you need to provide your relations birth cert, and the birth cert of whichever of your PARENTS he or she is related to.

It is my brother that I will be showing on my application, however I am not sure if I have to provide original bills or photo copies of those bills (if it is a photo copy does it have to be certified)?
