Related to salary offered in Canada for job code 2171

Hello All

I am planning to emigrate to Canada next year. I have 10 years of experience as Technical Consultant and I don't have Canadian experience. This would be under job code 2171. I was told that Indian experience doesn't count in Canada and that we need to gain North American experience to earn better. Please let me know the average starting salary offered for profile of my kind. I have checked various websites however I wanted to get a live examples and hence I posted this here
