What are the reasons of rejection? I read online about the reasons but usually sometimes, a student has enough financial funds and has offer from a recognized university but still gets rejected. I am worried if I will get rejected or not.
I have completed my high school, studied in a uni at my home country for one year but dropped out and now applied for Canada visa. I had applied for study permit last year but withdrew it last year. I am applying for undergrad engineering at a good uni (WesternU).
What are the chances of getting rejected and in what cases do most applicants get rejected ?

No one can tell you the chances of approval. There are many factors and funds is just one factor. Officers will look at your marks, transcripts, whether you live in your home country, ties to home country, career prospects in home country, travel, visas to other countries etc.

How does ties to the home country affect the process. Because I don't live in the country of my citizenship

That can be an issue to officers as you need to show that you will return to your home country after your studies, and not remain in Canada.
