rejection for may! confused about next intake, should i try or not?

students visa in spp catagory got rejected with the following reason:
1)in light of your previous education , your proposed course of study makes no sense.
2)you will not return to your home country after the visa expires on basis of : purpose of visit.

i had 7bands in ielts, academic performance in 12th (SCIENCE STREAM) were not that great, had a BACKLOG IN MATHS but cleared it in the same year.
had above average grades in 10th.
Applied with the offer letter of BUSINESS MARKETING - diploma (2 years) at seneca college.
paid 1 year tuition fees(2 semester)13125 CAD
paid GIC 10100 CAD.
i took a course that was related to commerce while i completed 12th in science stream with low grades, did the Visa Officer meant this by the reason that proposed course makes no sense?
i also attached a SOP with my checklist stating every single reason about backlog in maths and low grades in 12th, Business and family background which made me choose business marketing and plans about expanding my traditional family business both domestically and internationally.

Any changes or suggestions for next application will be appreciated.

opting for university instead of college would it be the solution ?

i would say take up diploma or degree in ur home country get good grades and then try again.....with bad grades and backlogs u dont seem like a genuine student

but i had my own reasons for grade 12 marks, as a teenager i grew up seeing my dad and uncle doing business, trading and selling products, so being rejected on the basis of 12th is really awful, i have that aspiration in me that i can excel in the field. ,and i have no other option but to prove them i am a genuine student

CIC doesn't care about aspirations - the only proof you can show CIC and your family is getting good grades because numbers don't lie

so prove it .....do diploma in ur home country and get excellent grades then rejection chances will be reduced. rejection for any reason is awful . it is even bad that u could have excelled and chose not to excel in 12th means u made bad choices and what is stopping u from making same bad choices in canada.

well then what are the chances if i apply this september with the course i am currently studying in india, i am doing computer application diploma 1year course, if i score well in that then are there chances of getting visa ?
i dont wanna further study in computer programming, i wanna go for business marketing.
so here is my question, what if i apply for visa with a ug course in field of conputer application and then change it later on?
i am preety sure i will score good in computer application dioloma. that may make the visa officers over look my grade 12 marks.
and then if the visa is approved, ill change my course back to bachlors in commerce with the majors in marketing.

First of all chose relavant course...if you do computer diploma right now..then choose computer course field only to get visa....after that when you reach there you can easily change your course...
best of luck ...& do well in your current study atleast 65%....

be careful after june 1 rules are changing...u will be required to notify CIC if u change institute.

"You must notify CIC via your MyCIC account when you are transferring from one designated learning institution to another, even if it is at the same level of study."
