Rejected by Carleton for Fall'13 ! Dejected :( Way forward now ?

Hello Guys,

Opened my mailbox today in the morning and found the bad news. My application for admission in M.Engg (Civil) was declined by Carleton. They haven't given any specific reason what made them reject me but i'm quite sad to say the least.

My profile was :

10th : 85%
12th : 65%

B.Tech (Civil) : 65%
IELTS : 7.5 overall

I attached a strong SOP as well, alongwith my complete documents. Can anything be done now in order to reconsider my application ? I was considering Carleton to be a safer university and therefore applied to it considering my profile. I've applied to Saskatchewan apart from Carleton but looking at the scenario, i'm considering my hopes dashed for UoS as well

Can anybody advise me now what to do in order to secure admission in any other university for the Fall'13 or Winter'14 term ?

i will say for now if you desperately want to go to canada then apply to either colleges or else apply to lower ranked universities which has deadline till may.
else you can consider australia and land of opportunities usa.
one more thing there are many university visits and education fairs so don t lose hope. but i think you should ve applied to min 4 univ!
