Hi guys, I put up this thread because I have not seen one.

I am a 2014 FSWP applicant but my application was returned just last month, the reason being the quota was reached already. I have an agency who process my application and when I asked them the original letter from CIO, they gave me a letter without a bar code. Is it really possible that the CIO Nova Scotia will give letter without bar code? Because as far as I know they always have bar code in all their communication.

Anyone here who can show what exactly the content of a letter when they returned your application?

I am asking because I have doubts on my agency and the authenticity of the letter.

I don't believe that CIC rejection letters have a bar code, no.

You could always call CIC to verify your application yourself.

What NOC code did you apply under?

The number of applications received numbers displayed on the CIC web site are always 3-4 months behind. So the actual number of applications received when your application was submitted was in fact quite a lot higher than 500 you saw on the CIC web site.

I can't link from my phone which is playing up, but if you do a google search for "fsw 2014 noc 1111 quota filled", you will find several messages/threads from this forum discussing that yes, the quota was filled.

&+1 to what Scylla said.
