Reissue of PR card using IMM 5531 - timeline and/or ecas?

This is solely to hear from whomever requested reissuing of an already existing PR card using form IMM 5531, particularly if it was following an approved amendment of COPR. So not renewal, not replacement after being lost stolen, etc.
The guide (IMM 5530) suggests that the processing is done on an urgent basis, within ~ 15 working days, which, in my case at least, doesn't seem to happen.

Before I begin the hurdles of dealing with CIC call centre, I was wondering if any of you whom have ** recently ** gone through this process, got any acknowledgement back from CPC, or maybe even saw the case progress in Ecas? Last but not least, what was the actual timeline for sorting out this IMM 5531? Thanks!

An update(if it can be considered): called CIC yesterday, spoke to an agent who looked at my "file" based on UCI and after some serious waiting on the line for him to do his stuff, he got back to me to literally tell me that he doesn't have any sort of status for me: cannot tell whether they have the IMM 5531 in the queue, processing it, when I should hear from them, why not showing in ecas. Nothing. Just that I have to wait six more weeks (!!!!) for some status to show up. I reminded him that IMM 5530 instructions guide say clearly that the replacement pr card should have been in my hands already (15 working days processing time) .. and now wait other 6 weeks just for some status to "show up" ? Needless to say, he just said he understood but nothing could be done.

Still hopeful that someone here on the forum went through this particular process and can share ...
