Rehabilitation for ETA

Hi guys. I have a question about Rehabilitation for ETA .
My friend who wants to visit to Canada applied for ETA and told honestly about the DUI in the past.
And for this, it took a long time to get rehabilitated for ETA. In conclusion, he came to Canada and went back home. My question is this. If my friend wants to apply for immigration to Canada, he is now clean with DUI since he applied for rehabilitation for ETA? or Does he have to apply again for rehabilitation for the purpose of
immigration?

No - he doesn't have to apply again. Rehabilitation was already approved. He can apply to immigrate directly.
