Several years ago, I was convicted outside of Canada for a criminal act (without saying that I regret it strongly).
I would like to be able to apply for a permanent residency soon.
I already created an account (sign in) on the IRCC site with GCKey Identification, it was a few months ago (I have not yet started my residency application).

That said, I had already applied for residency through another program a few years ago, but was denied because of my criminal history which was too recent at that time to make me eligible. But since that request, I have apparently kept the same UCI number.

I recently linked my application (with this UCI) to my session created a few months ago.

Currently, I am processing a rehabilitation application to be able to lift the inadmissibility.
To do this, there is a processing fee that I have to pay.
I must include the receipt of this payment in the rehabilitation application file (that I intend to provide to the immigration service ASAP).

When I’m on the right page: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/order.do?lang=en, and want to start paying fees, the site asks me to log in. I then enter my email and password (those corresponding to my existing session); but unfortunately it does not recognize it, probably because it is another system than the GCkey! The website tells me that the account does not exist.
I prefer to go through my existing session because I would be afraid that the immigration service will ask me to link my payment to my application with the existing UCI number.

But if there is no need to make the payment through this session, then would it be possible to recreate a new session just for that? And if so, could I do it with the same email address that corresponds to my existing session?
The UCI corresponds to my request for rehabilitation (it is with this UCI that the immigration service follows up my file)

So I feel stuck. I need some necessary info for this payment, as I just explained.
Could someone answer these questions, and tell me the proper way to go?
Thank you very much,
