Dear Forum members,

I have had a bad surprise today while trying to register myself on Ontario Immigration website. I received a Notification of Interest about 4 months ago and was waiting for bank statement to come of age before I register myself and apply.

But, when I created my user name and password, the website stopped me at the first page with a notice that registration limit for 2017 has been reached and no new applications will be accepted, although my NOI is still valid. I read on another page, that all NOIs are going to expire on 31st December. This sounds unfortunate, but I cant see a way of appealing or doing something which could be useful here. I do not know if the province nominates a candidate again if the first nomination is not accepted and I cannot accept the nomination due to the expiry of intake limit.

Please feel free to ask, if I am not clear enough in my query and I shall really appreciate some quick answers.

Regards

Sorry to hear about that my friend..

Yes if you have got NOI this year.. Then it will expire on 31st December.. Even though they say 6months validity..

Nevertheless.. That doesn't mean you won't get another NOI.. Keep checking their website and whenever they say they are issuing NOI and asking for fresh profile.. create new one to receive..

Keep ur hope alive.. Because hope is a good thing

Best of luck from this side of the world

Very sorry to hear that. Please note that though the NOI is valid till 31st of December, Ontario seems to have reached its limit of issuing nominations. therefore you cannot apply anymore. Wait for next year and hopefully they will have an opening for your NOC and you will receive an NOI again.

Nishant.
