Hello

I am a Registered Nurse here in the Philippines and I am Planning to work in Canada as a Nurse.
However, in order for me to be a nurse in Canada I must take the CARNA. My question is what
requirements do i need to comply? it it necessary to have a nursing experience or at least one
year work experience as a nurse? Or do i have to take a nursing course or a refresher course in
canada?

I Hope you guys can help me out with this.

Thanks in advance.

You must possess a four year degree. Canada no longer accepts two year degrees for nurses.

Most nurses need to take a Canadian bridge course offered at many colleges. I included a link to a university here that offers the bridge so you can look at it.

@amikety

I have a BSN Degree for 4 years, no problem with that but for the bridging program how long do I need to take the bridging program?
Is it a 4 year course also or just a refresher course?
