Good day to you . Iam a 45 year old INDIAN citizen who has received student visa to learn a 1 one year master degree program at University Of New Brunswick - Sep 2023. By the time I complete my study, I would be 46 years old. Iam currently not part of express entry profile, as I got dropped out at the age of 42 due to advancing age. Even if get a job and complete 1 year in the job and apply for canadian express class, I would end up with 487 points. So Iam not sure if I will meet that PR cutoff score (In April this year it was already 483). Hence My query is as follows - "In case I don't get any PR, can i continue to extend my work permit and keep working in Canada (even if I don't have a PR)"? Is that legally allowed? Kindly advise and guide me here. Thank you in advance. Sincerely appreciated.
